1. Understand the rationale for divestiture
Partner with management to identify potential financial and human capital factors that may affect the development of a sound divestment strategy and its execution.
2. Preparation for divestiture
Perform independent review of the financial performance and human resource function of the entity that is put up for sale, highlighting potential factors that may impact deal price, cause delay to sale process, and/or result in post-divestiture organisational challenges and employee engagement issues.
3. Marketing the company
Partner with management and its advisers on strategic packaging of the business, highlighting amongst others, its key business and people-related attributes.
4. Negotiating the deal
Support negotiations on finance and HR-related items and provide our views on possible resolutions over pre- and post-closing activities that will ensure a smooth transition.
5. Operational sustainability and transitional support
Project manage the financial and/or HR processes, ensuring key miletsones and timelines are achieved. Partner with your HR team to identify employee-related transition support needs as well as develop communication strategies to continually engage your employees.
